Story: Oil Money was born from a meeting with a client who buys pure oud oil from me , not the polite “oud perfume” stuff people wear to feel mysterious in mall lighting, but the serious, dark, animalic, financially irresponsible kind that makes your bank account look away in shame; he walked in smelling like an Arab man with unlimited money, unbothered sins, and a passport that has never stood in an economy line, and before he even spoke I could smell layers , natural oils stacked like secrets, oud under sweetness, saffron over skin, something citrusy cutting through the heat, something nutty and creamy sitting there like wealth that has stopped explaining itself; Oil Money opens with peach and lemon, bright and obscene, like gold jewelry flashing from under a white sleeve, then saffron and geranium turn it warm, floral, spicy, almost too smooth, before praline and vetiver sink in with that sweet-dusty, expensive-after-midnight feeling , the kind of scent that does not flirt, it financially intimidates; he told me how he layers his oils to get that effect, and I remember thinking this is not fragrance, this is tax-free seduction with a darker moral compass, so I made this as an ode to that first meeting: sexy, rich, slightly metallic, warm as skin in a closed car, sweet enough to be dangerous, and best worn layered with pure oud oil if you really want to smell like generational wealth made eye contact with bad decisions; yes, it is expensive, but then again, so is pretending you do not want the Oil Money vibe , and if you want the pure oud oil I would actually layer this with, mail the studio and preorder the best quality stuff.
