Story: Last Seen in Goa smells like a man who went there for “clarity” and came back with a lighter wallet, darker thoughts, and one linen shirt that had seen more sin than most confession boxes; it opens with lavender and Amalfi lemon, clean enough to fool your mother on a video call, bright like that first drink at 4 PM when you’re pretending the sea breeze is healing you and not just enabling you, then the African orange flower walks in like someone you met near Anjuna who spoke too softly, smiled too late, and made you forget your own return ticket; underneath it all, Virginia cedar, patchouli, and vanilla sit like the real story after the Instagram stories ended - hotel corridors, wet hair, cheap philosophy, expensive mistakes, sand in places sand has no legal right to be, and that strange Goan loneliness where everyone is half-naked, half-drunk, half-in-love, and fully lying; I made this thinking of a night I either lived or invented, where the party was over, the scooter key was missing, the moon looked unemployed, and for a few minutes near the shore, smelling of citrus, flowers, wood, and bad judgment, I genuinely believed disappearing was not cowardice but good taste.
